Settled Soul counselors are trained and equipped to apply the truth and help of God’s Word to any counseling conversation. In addition to their knowledge of theology and it’s application, they also bring to the table an understanding of clinical methods, as well as their own personal experiences, and the wisdom that comes from them.

Jamie Corbin
Jamie has personally experienced the comforting and transformative presence of the Lord through the power of God's Word and the Holy Spirit. She firmly believes that authentic soul care begins with understanding God's nature and our identity in Him. Jamie holds a B.A. in Psychology and Counseling from Lancaster Bible College and earned an M.A. in Christian Counseling & Discipleship from Capital Seminary & Graduate School. Additionally, she holds a Certificate in Trauma Care from the Dan Allender Institute. With a heart for women to grasp the profound peace and depth of life found in the Gospel, Jamie brings a wealth of experience to her role. As a wife, mother of two, former Lead Counselor for a non-profit, and current pastor's wife, she is adept at guiding women through various challenges. Jamie's expertise spans areas such as anxiety, relational issues, trauma, depression, grief, spiritual direction, identity struggles, boundaries, transitional phases, spiritual discouragement, pre-marital preparation, marriage struggles, pregnancy loss, and postpartum issues. Having navigated many of these challenges herself, Jamie has witnessed the powerful work of God in her life. This fuels her deep desire to walk alongside other women on their journey toward healing. Jamie and her husband Dave, who have been high school sweethearts since 2000 and married since 2009, reside in Maryland with their two sons. When they're not soaking in the sights and sounds of Walt Disney World, you'll often find them immersed in books, enjoying games, or having fun with their dog, Toby.
Dave Corbin
Dave currently serves as the Communities Pastor at Lighthouse Church in Glen Burnie, MD. With a deep passion for God's Word, stemming from both a love for its truth and authority, and personal experiences of its impact on his life, Dave delights in discussing and applying it to himself and others. He brings together his pastoral expertise in Spiritual Formation with his personal journey of following Jesus and living out His teachings, offering insight into various challenges such as anxiety, relationships, depression, spiritual stagnation, grief, transitions, boundaries, marriage, and more. With a wealth of experience in navigating these issues firsthand or walking alongside others, Dave is adept at guiding people through their struggles. Alongside his wife Jamie, Dave is the proud father of two sons and calls Maryland home.
